
Pilates & Barre Classes
Our mat Pilates and Barre classes offer low-impact, low-weight, and higher repetition group exercise formats. The exercises combine physical movement with breath to work smaller and deeper stabilizing muscles. These classes strengthen various muscle groups to increase fitness levels and help with injury prevention which can benefit everyone, regardless of gender, age, or ability.

Get a complete body workout as you tone your muscles through a combination of small, isolated movements and isometric moves that draw inspiration from ballet, pilates, high intensity training, weightlifting, and yoga. Our instructors will target each of your muscle groups to the point of exhaustion and then stretch those muscles in a way that promotes a long, lean, sculpted body and leaves you feeling powerful and energized. This class is done without an actual barre and instead creatively utilizes a variety of different props (hand weights, resistance bands, exercise balls…even the wall) to achieve an intense burn. This workout is intense, but we encourage you to join us no matter your skill or fitness level as it allows you to work within your own comfort level.

Mat Pilates provides a safe, efficient and compelling workout that focuses on low impact total body conditioning. You will move through a series of exercises targeting your key muscle groups (core, hips, glutes, lower back, shoulders…you get it). The class works to increase muscular strength and endurance, boost energy levels, chisel a lean and toned physique, increase flexibility and mobility, as well as support stability of the joints and spine. People of all ages and abilities flock to this class as you can adapt moves that work for you. And although some tools may be used (balls, light weight, bands), most exercises just require your body weight and a mat. So the moves are easy to follow yet will still leave no muscle untouched!
