If you’re looking for more cardio in addition to strength exercises, then you’ve found it. Tabata is an energizing yet easy-to-follow strength + cardio class. It’s called high-intensity interval training, but don’t be intimidated! Our instructors provide clear guidance and options, so you stay safe and adjust up or down to what feels right for you. And those interval exercises truly are great at burning calories and helping you get stronger, leaner and overall healthier. The Tabata method was designed and researched by Izumi Tabata, who proved that short intervals of higher intensity increase your cardiac health and resting metabolic rate. It includes 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest. This repeats for 4 minutes and then you get 1 minute of rest so you are ready for the next move. This class is for all ages and abilities because you can adjust the intensity and effort to what feels good. And the instructor and others around will motivate and inspire you so you can end with that healthy and accomplished glow (or is that sweat?)!
